TRUE OR FALSE:

It is harder to type out a 100,000 word novel with your arm in a sling than with two working arms.

I wrote my first book after I flipped my bicycle one summer and broke my arm. I was never a fast typist, so one-handed did not slow me down AT ALL! And not being able golf gave me time to write. 

(Some people who have seen me golf might say I could never really play to begin with, so why didn't I start writing sooner--but those people are mean, and I don't listen to them)

I am spending more energy on my fiction than on my autobiography, but I PROMISE I will give you more of the inside scoop someday on my origin story.
